Hard work on soft skills
Higher education institutions are dedicated to hard skills training because their courses are drafted to teach students a peculiar technique. Soft skills are crucial, too.
Autore: Valeria Caggiano
Higher education institutions are dedicated to hard skills training because their courses are drafted to teach students a peculiar technique. Soft skills are crucial, too. From the labor market side, the employer often sees a serious difference between hard and soft skills that a graduate brings to the workplace, with many new employees missing the soft skills needed for their professional achievements. Traditionally higher education has not focused on teaching these skills; nonetheless, many universities have begun to harmonize them into their curriculum, bringing a higher awareness to this growing training need. This book provides some useful guidelines to identify soft skills, and it will be useful to all those people who intend to succeed in their chosen profession – particularly educators, teachers, trainers and final year students/graduates.
